It is a great pleasure and honor to welcome Dr. Chris P. Kassaris to our practice. He was born and raised in Greenwich, and is first generation Greek descent. After graduating from Fairfield College Preporatory School in 1989, he acheived a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Thereafter, he attended the prestigous Pennsyvania College of Podiatric Medicine, which is now Temple School of Podiatric Medicine where he obtained a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1998. His internship was performed at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, and it was followed by a rigirous two year surgical residency at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland. He served as cheif resident between 2000 and 2001. His training included in-house patient care, wound care management, limb salvage, sports medicine, and elective foot surgery. He then joined a busy podiatric group practice as an associate in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts in 2001. After five years of extensive clinical and surgical experience, he and his wife, Penelope, decided to move to Fairfield County and raise their children, Marika and Peter, in his home town of Greenwich. We are very fortunate to have Dr. Kassaris and look forward to many happy and successful years of practice together. Dr. Kassaris is Board Certified by ABPS.
